Meet the Founder and Chief Content Creator

Hi, I’m Madelyn Gordon — the founder and Chief Content Creator behind Gordon Social. I grew up in the Newnan and Peachtree City area, and my first real job was at a small local market that housed a bunch of different small businesses. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that job completely shaped the way I see community, creativity, and business. There’s just something different about watching real people build something from the ground up — and I’ve been hooked on that ever since.

I’ve always been a little obsessed with social media and branding (in the best way possible). I love the creative side of marketing — taking an idea or feeling and turning it into something visual that actually makes people stop scrolling. Whether it’s a post, a brand aesthetic, or a full content strategy, I’m most interested in storytelling that feels real and intentional, not forced or overly “salesy.”

I’m currently studying Marketing with an emphasis in Digital Marketing at the University of Georgia — Go Dawgs. Being a student in this space means I’m constantly learning what’s new, what’s changing, and what actually works right now in social media. Outside of that, I’m always drawn to anything creative — art, design, interiors, and anything that tells a visual story. Gordon Social really came from combining all of that: creativity, community, and a genuine love for helping small businesses grow in a way that feels authentic to them.
